Baked Cassava Penne with Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • Water for cooking pasta (salted or unsalted)
  • 1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ lb-1 lb ground meat (turkey, beef, chicken, etc.)
  • ½ lb cassava penne pasta
  • 2 cups Get Saucy Tomato-Free Marinara
  • Parsley to garnish

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375⁰F (190⁰C).
  2. Heat water in pot large enough for the pasta.
  3. Once boiling, add pasta and cook to instructions and desired texture, 13 minutes for cassava penne.
  4. Add olive oil to sauté pan on medium-high heat, heat until shimmering.
  5. Add ground meat to sauté and cook about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add Get Saucy Tomato-Free Marinara to meat and stir until fully incorporated.
  7. Drain pasta from pot and add into Tomato-Free Marinara mixture
  8. Toss pasta into sauce until coated
  9. Add to baking dish and place in 375⁰F (190⁰C) oven and bake 10-15 mins.
  10. Garnish with parsley if desired.
