Orange Chicken with Steamed or Tempura Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken (or other boneless meat), cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ lb broccoli florets
- Avocado oil for frying
- 1 package of Get Saucy Tempura Batter Mix, set aside small amount for rolling chicken in ~ 4 Tbsp
- 1 cup water
- 4 Tbsp Get Saucy Orange Chicken Sauce
- Thinly sliced scallions to garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat avocado oil in large pot.
- Roll Chicken pieces in dry tempura batter mix and then mix remaining tempura mix with 1 cup water with a whisk in a bowl.
- Add chicken pieces to tempura batter mix and then slowly lower pieces safely into 375⁰F (190⁰C) oil. Fry until pieces float and are golden brown ~3-5 minutes.
- Remove pieces with a slotted spoon or fryer spider and place onto a wire rack or paper towel-lined plate.
- Repeat the same procedure for broccoli florets if desired.
- Toss chicken and/or florets in Get Saucy Orange Sauce until well-coated.
- Garnish with scallions and steamed broccoli if desired.
